Woo Way is an experimental duo featuring Dunja Crnjanski on piano and Daniel More Ramos on double bass. Known for their distinctive approach to improvisation, Woo Way constantly seeks to balance freedom, flow, and structure within their improvisations. Their music is a sonic exploration that blends live instrumentation with visual and textual elements as they navigate the fine line between spontaneity and form.
The name, Woo Way, is inspired by the Chinese philosophy of "Wu wei", a concept from Daoism that translates to "non-action" or "effortless action". It refers to a state of harmony in which actions are naturally aligned with the flow of life, without force or resistance - a philosophy that deeply influences the duo's creative process.

The album "Stara Planina" was born out of short texts I wrote during a trip to the mountain Stara Planina in southwest Serbia. Our musical improvisation serves as a soundtrack for the text.
